The Characters and the map of the Ocarina of Time were located in the fictional kingdom of Hyrule. It was actually the background for most of the Zelda games Series. The Hyrule field is the central hub for connecting the several terrains and several outlying areas of the Hyrule race.
The fairy Navi awakened from a nightmare where he witnessed a man chasing a young girl on horseback in black armour. Navi brought her Character to the big Deku tree, he was cursed and near death. Before her death, Great Deku Tree gave the spiritual stone of the forest and sent him to the castle of Hyrule to talk to the princess of Hyrule.
In the garden of Hyrule Castle, Navi meets Princess Zelda, she believes that the king of Gerudo, The Ganondorf, is looking for Triforce, a divine antique that gives its holders the power.
